Nothing to really upset the applecart on the final day, save the retirement of top2rated that very generously allowed another to slot into the places.
So well done to old applejack, making a swift return upstairs as our monthly champion. A winner today with a customary shortie, his strike rate of nearly 67% blew every one else out of the water. Only one in profit too. Superbulous!
Four winners put Kohoutek up in second, including a 7/1 and 13/2, while a solid effort of small but steady winners left cobs101 in third.
New kid on the lock Lieutenant Pigeon in fourth
and bluenose7 in fifth complete the list of transportees. Well done guys.
A mention too for the day's hard luck story, MOB, who bagged a 5/2 that left him just a couple of pennies short of nicking fifth.
