Pretty much as you were after today's results, so very well done to our latest champion, Indelicato, who finished with a 6/4 flourish. One of the lowest strike rates gives is a dead giveaway to how he did it, a humungous 40/1 three days ago. So he now joins his many stablemates upstairs.
Making a swift return to the promised land in second is SPYOFJACKDAWSCASTLE, a pretty steady scorer whose highlight was a 13/2 mid-month.
In third is another ending a period of R&R, Theresa Croude from the KC stable, who boasts the month's highest strike rate of 65%. She was the day's only other winner with an 11/10. Let's hope her BFF Justin, who failed to make it, doesn't pine away in her absence.
A big well done too to our prodigal son petemac, a splendid fella and great competitor who finished in fourth. His highlight was a mid-month 18/1. I don't doubt we'll see him in the Prem before long.
And finally in fifth we have Box Of Frogs, the last of his sizeable stable to go up. who was also notable for a 16/1 just over half way through.
Well done to all promotees. Hard luck to those who didn't make it but your contributions to making it a competition are much valued and I hope you all return refreshed for a new month's jousting. And thanks for all your kind messages.
