Nice to see madhatter kicking off our new month with the top day one winner. Sherdil returned 100/30, slightly hampered by an R4, to put him at the top of the tree.   Make the most of it mr mad, doesn't happen often!

Then we have a refugee from upstairs, panglima, with a 2/1,   NonVintage with a 6/5   and Poppydog with an odds-on. I'll skip over scissors in fifth with a non-runner but I have a question: was your promotion question ironic?
