You have from now to before 3.00 Sat to make a selection either in Britain, Ireland or France, 10 win or 5 Ew, write ups are encouraged to reason your selection but entirely up to you, post it on here and in Undecided Team Selection thread.
Welcome Barstool. |

Sorry if I seem a bit thick but has my selection to run on the Saturday after 3pm or can I post one that runs earlier that day.
Or can I post a selection for any day later that week. |
|
By:
Forget that I get it.
I can make one selection this week before Saturday 3pm. Correct? |
|
By:
yes that's right Barstool 10pts win or 5 ew
just make sure you post selection at least a min before off time whenever that may be undecided is a stickler for this rule |

Are there any team rules are preferences about backing win or ew? eg, win under a certain price and ew over. Are odds on pokes frowned are welcomed?
Just trying to get a feel for our tactics. I have a selection mid week which I guess will be about 4/1. |
|

Welcome aboard barstool good to have you.
|
|

Dessie nah its ok I know where he was coming from. Though he might live to regret this recruitment drive if Foyleswar, Barstool and Workrider hit the ground running
- all three know their stuff and in different categories of racing. Foyles for his maidens/novice aw/turf, Barstool UK jumps and Workrider the Irish angle let the battles commence! |

I'm very pleased you have a full team. Wd N East and stewart.

Barstool it's the biggest profit over the length of the comp that matters but we pick on our own individual strengths and way of betting, myself and acey deuce usually go EW at a price but not always, he did have 10pts win on 18/1 shot last year.
I'd say that Nec and Scrabbler are slightly more reserved in their price range and possibly more Win than EW and East End Boy is a new team member who has had I think just 2 picks so far an Even money winner and a 7/2 unplaced Win bet yesterday. It's entirely up to you and bet as you normally would I'd say. Good luck, we're all in it together. |

Thanks stewarts and others for the welcome.
My first selection will be a win bet on JUST THE MAN in the 4.40 at Ludlow tomorrow. It is a young improving horse I have been following closely. C&D, going, will suit perfectly. A couple in the race who should ensure a good pace for the JTMs turn of foot at the end, Hoping he will be held up until after last as he made his ground up too quickly and led too soon (imo) last time. The horse that beat him, Black Poppy (15 lengths back to the 3rd) was having its first run in a handicap that day and has won since. Kevin Brogan takes off 3 lb which offsets most of his 4 lb rise from last time. Hoping for a very good run for our money and a bit of luck. |

Just remember to put your selection on "Team Tipster Round 2,Week 2" tomorrow before the race, good luck Barstool and always good to see a write up.

Hi guys hoping to bag a few points one way or another today
so going ew with Father of Jazz 2.05 Kempton much better on AW and the dead eight should at least enable a place gl chaps with other selections ![]() |
|
By:
Think workrider may forget to post, has anyone got a wildcard fancy if he hasn't posted by 2.50.
I'm going for an EW bet on Inn From The Cold- 4.16 Curragh in Irish Lincoln. |

By:
Looked at Alpine Sierra in 5.15 Donc. for promising apprentice Ryan Sexton
riding very well on AW and 3 rides for Dalgleish stable reads 1-2-3 small sample but stable off to a flier today would go ew in a open race but im struggling a bit |
|
By:
like all good ew bets mine finished 4th - blew the turn or would have made the frame in a messy race
