VWD to our opponents the ew thieves who lived up to their name and still have a couple to go.Not sure any other results will make much difference in terms of affecting us next week.Quite simply down to us to win our match and secure the high scoring bonus points.
It has been disappointing so far despite some sterling work from you lads,we were only a nose away from another 2pts in the first round and mega high scoring from others.Looks like next week will be wide open in terms of a 4th place spot to qualify and I do not think we need to be looking for outsiders to gain points eg Look at aceys brilliant ew pick at 28s and the oppositions ew at 7/2 which won and scored only 9 points less? The point is that the 7/2 had a far greater chance of the win and so in terms of the next round maybe where we should be firing our ammo e.g not ignoring the obvious? Get your opinions out and see what the general consensus is among the team regardless of what and who is still left to run this evening. Well done lads despite not being reflected in our points,you know we can do better,none more so than me!!! |

Unlucky lads..My Mole in the Williams barn tells me Helios Allen 1.00 Chepstow will run a massive race he is around 12-1 so i will play safe and go each way.

Hi lads,thanks to acey's brilliant rabbit we are in a good position to progress,basically in our own hands regardless of what happens with the others.If we can consolidate with points from remaining picks we should be in with a shout.The wildcard for this week could be extra significant and everyone has had a go so open for anyone who feels confident to take on the responsibility,let me know.

With acey putting us into such a good position, I think it is a case of safety first. So it is 5 ew Senior Citizen 2.15 Aintree. I fhte competition offered the same enhanced place terms as bookmakers ( 7 Places ) I might have done Rhythmic Intention in the November Handicap. Good luck to the rest of the team.

A horse I put up lto when 2nd, for same reasons, acts on soft, only btn by lightly raced improver lto, drops a furlong to 7fs, Appleby has put 7lb claimer Larson on top may not be able to claim full 7lbs but should do 4lbs. Some 16lbs less than 2 years ago when ran well in C2 at Ascot, 2nd home on wrong side, leading at 7fs, horse he finished 1/2 length in front of at York Another Batt won nto think has a decent ew chance. |

Looking at a couple of possibles at Chelsmford...
you know who for top stable in the nursery at 2.55 and Silver Nemo in 6.00 though that one's style of running is not for the faint-hearted and will need the breaks late on gets on well with Josephine Gordon and course certainly suits if she gets going in time probably going to go with Prism but will wait to see how rivals get on early doors - might go ew just for some points or do I go for the win in case we need top scorers, decisions decisions |
