the first time racing took place on a sunday at cheltenham the highlight of the card was a 4 runner hurdle race involving morley street and granville again,granville was sent of at odds on however morley street won the race,the other 2 were not to shabby either oh so risky and tyrone bridge.
when morley street won the 91 champion hurdle flat trainers dermot weld,barry hills,fulke johnson houghton and guy harwood had runners ,just 4 of the 24 runners were trained in ireland finishing 12th 13th 18th and 21st the illiad last of the 21 finishers was backed in from 33/1 into 11/2 due to running up money from the supreme novice hurdle where the huge gamble on granville again was foiled by an even bigger gamble on destriero. how times have changed |

remember it well Dont think we are any worse position Jim as long as we are all on a level playing field - oops another debate I will be playing late today Humbugs have a healthy 90 pts lead 'So Far' so will take a little effort searching for something to haul that back & they have cards still to play but so have we motseel you are still on stand by if you can post a just in case selection on here much appreciated |

I have picked one in the last turf race of the season

Hard lines Jimnast didnt get the run of the race but I think a low draw counted for an awful lot there

Condition Red has now gone back to Amber but its Green as far as the Comp goes!! A winner for me and a win for the team would be a great pick me up. As always, I'll be trying to get that best foot forward
