What a waste of time today was - not a single winner!
So, well done to my stablemate Dublo Seven on not just bouncing straight back to Div 2 but taking top spot to boot. Him and his equally promoted stablemate Fortismere, along with another of my runners Treesome, now returning from the other place, are yoyo boys, bumping up and down between the divs with metronomic regularity! Anyway, modest but regular scores were Dublo's hallmark, including four straight at the start, with a strike rate of near 46%.
What to say about our great competition stalwart and chronicler undecided, except that he likes them big and when it pays off he ends up in places like second. This month it was two biguns, at 18/1 and 20/1, in mid-month that were enough. Superb!
Fortismere in third never looked back after banging in a 12/1 early on. In fourth is another great competition veteran learning thegame, proof that you can succeed with shorties if you are good enough. Nine odds-on wins in the second half kept his pot boiling to the end. Highest strike rate of 62%. 
And finally we have the protege of our esteemed Premier settler, Longshot Louie, in fifth, very aptly named as his single 33/1 winner was enough to get him up. Fantabulous.
Hard luck the rest but you all made it another great month of competition. Hope to see you all again in July.
