Belvedere Blast - 3.31 Bev - EW
Taking a chance that this one has more to offer trying 10f first time and got no run last couple of times. |
By:
Shame, traded odds-on.
By:
Just seen this, very unlucky undecided but a 33/1 place will do. Now it is up to the rest of the team to pick a similar priced selection and result.
By:
well done UD
By:
Great selection UD - nearly
By:
Good effort ud.
I will put up Storm Home 1.30 Worcester 5pts e/w for tomorrow. Only 10 runners and one of those may not go as it ran only two days ago. Can't fancy the two outsiders so have to be hopeful of at least a place in a good e/w race. |
By:
great effort madhatter.
By:
Well done lads
I was going to put up Eliezmoi ew in the next at Huntingdon but was waiting for the "likely" non-runner so will wait until the weekend |
By:
I am having a go with Cardano 2.45 Chester tomorrow
By:
i was going to just bank on Copperless, but as we need a miracle have gone e.w on Jumaira Bay 3.40 Asc e.w,good luck all.
By:
I was going to go for one in the Victoria Cup but with lockup going for one in that race will change to Kayf Adventure in the 3.20 Hexham
By:
Mine at a reasonable price is Westend Theatre in the 5.05 at Hexham - never ever going to be 16 lining up!!!!
Does someone need to cover for Bluenose? |
By:
Yes, we do need someone to post a wildcard selection. If you have a particular extra fancy today I have no objection to you posting it The Sawyer, but if no one has posted by 2.40 I will try and make a posting before the 3.00 cut off time.
By:
I have posted (and backed) on the daily comp The King of May 5.35 Haydock; would really have to be win as there are now only 6 runners.
He has dropped to 130 allowing him to run in 0-130 races - his form has been in much stronger races than this. No worries whatever way if someone has an alternative ew fancy |
By:
My 1st choice is Aced It in the 4.15 Ascot and 2nd is Lost Eden in the 2.30 Ascot both each way
By:
I'm happier with an each way pick duke
By:
Looking at the current scoreboard I think we need a double figure priced horse for our final selection and although we already have a selection in the Victoria Cup I think we should make another selection in that race, so I will just post Greenside now.
By:
Sounds right and each way
By:
well done with place points captain.
good luck duke and Sawyer. |

A poor effort last week but at least it was an improvement from the first week. Certainly I have to admit that tips out for the lads have been picking some very good selections, but as we all know their hot streak cannot go on for ever, so we need to refocus, concentrate and show what we can do if we really try. I always tend to try and wait to Saturday for making my selection, but I am not sure that is working out so well so will perhaps be more willing to make a mid-week selection in future. Our form may have dipped but remember form is temporary, class is permanent.
By:
Talking about class i had a blinder at Ascot with these winners Albaflora 11/2,Go Bears Go 16/1 R4 20p,River Nymph (EW 1/5 1-6) 12/1,Little Boy Blue 12/1 R4 10p,and a 2nd Basilicata 8/1
By:
Sandy Boy e/w in the 1.30 Worcester today for me.
About 5/1 and 9 runners. |
By:
Good luck with that one madhatter. I must admit I haven't looked at the Worcester card at all so would not have any opinion on the race.

Some of you may recall my selection of Cool Hand Luke in its last race in a bumper at Ayr because I considered it to be overpriced at 20/1. It is running today in the 1st race at Perth and at its price last night of about 6/1 I was going to make it my selection today. However as it has now been backed in to 9/4 I think I will leave it now and try and find something else to pick.
By:
Just noticed your winner mad - well done.
I backed Mr M but well done all the same ![]() going to put Castletown EW in the 4.00 at Perth - good luck for the rest of the week lads |
By:
Polish - 4.50 York - EW
Waited to see it wasn't weak in the market, should be there abouts. |
By:
oh well, not there abouts, sorry.
By:
Fortamour to win for Ben Haslam in the 3.40 Y tomorrow
By:
Do we have any volunteers for this week's wildcard selection. Anyone who was had more than one wildcard already should stand back and wait for others to come forward. Any suggestions should be posted here by 2.30 so that a final selection can be made.
By:
I would happily put up my nap Going Global e/w in the 5.45 Uttoxeter if need be captain, but am happy to defer to others if they fancy anything very strongly.
By:
Little Jo 2.10 Thirsk if we need one at a price
By:
My 1st choice is the unbeaten Tamborrada 3.00 Newbury and 2nd Barneys Bay 3.15 Newmarket
By:
yes please lockup, put that one up
