Crikey striding you had me in a panic when I logged in,I already lost a couple of days with meds and thought I was cracking up!!! Keep your chins up chaps it's not a sprint.Has some disappointing news earlier in the week and got really down, back into hospital on Monday. The initial disappointment being tempered by an upbeat discussion with my consultant and a kick up the backside by my OH!!!
Reminded me of briefings from two very different guys when things appeared to be against us.RSM Wallie Lockwood (youngest WO1 in the army at the time) and QMSI (WO1) Dickie Dart (oldest at the time) and if memory serves they were 32 and 56 years old respectively.I met Wally years later when he was a Captain and I was a Policeman,he offered to dig my garden as penance for being brutal over a decade previously!!! lol Anyway not wishing to bore you,we can and will pull it around, too good a team not to,each and every one as capable as any other in the other teams, you owe it to yourselves to realise YOU CAN and will do it!!!! ![]() ![]() |

hi guys
gone for 2.50 Just in Time for Alan King/Marquand been off a while and ran two good races without getting home over 2m, back in trip today 12f will seem like 14f which is what he won over at Donny in a similar race, not gone ew as think it will either win or be nowhere 14/1 seems fair and its gets a good word from Alan King/ gl acey |

chased too strong a pace SE but just not good enough
By:
no point napping 7/4 shots we are too far behind
By:
No worries I think we do have to hit some prices as the other teams are going for them.
By:
You ned a bit of luck too whicvh one to stick up
That disappointing Easterby STATS nap of mine last Friday (when I thought it was saturday!) the next day one comes out of the same group and wins at 20/1 ![]() Really need some of the ones I'm tracking to start running in races where I fancy them, these just not emerging at the minute. I'm sure we can get on a roll. |
By:
Any late nibble for Kirby/Cox in the opening Nursery at Kempton and I'm playing it.
12.0 looks overly generous to me By far the strongest profile of the trainers for the type of horse they are running which makes the price worrying at present. |
By:
This Stu Williams money actually looks ominous, not really his type of race but non winners in nurseries when the money comes early (20% or less price decrease in early market up to 10 mins before race) have a record of 4 wins from 10 even If they drift out again a bit late.
One of these recently for Marco Onaledge at Yarmouth with the similar 3 run profile |
