A couple of very nifty scores to round off the month and the year. But neither made any difference to the top five, who were unmoved after today's efforts. Only thing of note up top was our esteemed champ Leixlip Confey ending on £20 profit with a 9/4 winner. So another from the mini me stable leaves us for the heady heights of Div 2. Very well done that man. A 9/1 was his top score for the month but you can easily see why he was the undisputed champ with a fabulous strike rate of nearly 74%. The nearest contender only managed 50%. Fantasticolio!
Very well done too to REDROB and yoursomean, leaders themselves at various points, the Red opening his account with a 12/1!
Great also to see long-time campaigner raspberrybottom make it in fourth
and how can we not hail the achievement of the amazing Shanelee1966, who sealed the deal a day ago with a 7/1 that shot him into fifth. I shall miss your cheery presence shane, but very well done. 
It's more of a pity because your old mate pete looks like rejoining us next month. Coulda been fun!
Hard luck to those who strove in vain, but remember, it wouldn't be a competition without you. Must mention today's other winners, DFCIRONMAN finally heaving himself off the bottom, if only by an effective one place with the 13/2 Blast Of Koeman. He'd only just been bemoaning his last place this morning! Not so now matey. Another hefty win came from stewpot, 6/1 better off with Commodore to climb seven to 20th. Was your message today a retirement stewy? A big shame if that is the case. 
Gwaan, keep going. Gwaan, gwaan, gwaan!
Anyway, thanks for all your messages and hope to see you all refreshed to resume battle in 2019. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
