How often have you landed a nice little number and thought smugly of top billing in the end-of-day report, only to be gazzumped by a bigger hitter. Happened today as madhatter stole the headlines with a 12/1 basherooni called Here And Now. In the here and now that shot him up five to second and, but for our leader scoring well too, he would have been at the top!
Other than that, we'd be hailing our leader hong kong fooey and halcyon days for their 6/1 strikes. Well, we'll do our best anyway. The fooey guaranteed staying in top spot with Cosmic Chatter, of which there's bound to be a lot more as a result! And hal zoomed up seven to sixth with Camacho Chief. Soopah!
In other news, Value Seeker, having got the right day, got the right horse to earn 6/4 but still slipped one to fourth, while Màkant Izichi scored his fourth on the trot, a 5/4, but also slipped one to fifth. Further down Leixlip Confey bagged a 15/8
but stayed stuck in the nether regions, while an odds-on put i_agree_with_nick up a couple in roughly the same territory.
