A big grey blank of a final day,
so it's as you were in the promotion stakes.
A big well done to our champion caulkhead, who seemed to be going nowhere until mid-month, when he struck gold with a 14/1. Four chunky scores since have kept him on track and he ends with the month's second highest strike rate of 47% and a profit of just over £25.
bluenose7 started the month on fire, with five winners in the first six, including a 7/1 and 8/1. But he couldn't keep up the pace and ended with a longish drought. A very worthy second though with £17 in the black.
swift-tuttle also drew blanks for almost two weeks until, bang, a 20/1 rocketed him up the table. Then he went back to sleep for another two weeks before landing a 16/1! Nuf said!
GLASGOWCALLING made it in fourth with a regular string of respectable scores,
but the hit-rate king of the month is fifth-placed MOB: little and often was his modus, often enough to hit a 50% strike rate. 
Very well done guys and the best of luck in your new home. Hard luck everyone else, but I hope you had enough fun to want to join us again for an exciting new month. And thanks for all your kind messages. See you in May!
