It was like the charge of the Light Brigade: into the valley of death rode the brave six, only for all to be cut down in their prime.
So the only 'winners' were those who sat on their hands on this icy day and decided against Meydan's sunny allure. Hard luck to the six who tried. Brave souls indeed. 
Doesn't look a whole lot better Friday, with Lingield inspecting at 8am. Southwell could be all you get.
