As my selection was IMMEDIATELY cancelled and reselected (and in the SAME race) --
i think that is very unfair -- The sp shown for Deidre was 7/2 -- but then when i looked at a current bookies odds i saw it was now 11/8 .. As i need a 3/1 to go up -- that was not enough -- I think i have NOT gained any advantage or disadvantaged anyone in reselecting mins after my original..and before any other poster posts... and at the time of doing so, i was inside the rules, which now appear to be getting changed to suit Posy .. |

Its happened before on the last day scissors and each time the ruling is you aren't allowed to change , except for a non-runner , as its unfair to others.

Posy's lousy insinuation that i gained an advantage by posting before 7am and immediately cancelling it --
Is ludicrous - and in the extreme a disgraceful comment in today's circumstances .. I hope Posy is happy with his comments in this matter today. ------------ But The concept is right .. One should not be able to post a selection and ages /hours later change it -- but on this occasion it was immediate -- NO advantage gained in this instance.. To then bring a rule in and back date it to before my post .. Bug***s belief !!  It should apply to future months if brought in .. ----------- I will have to have a serious think as the comp is supposed to be a bit of fun -- and spurious allegations do NOT mean fun !! |

I have started a thread to clarify this situation as I can't remember it cropping up in this Division before.
It has happened in the Premier a couple of times recently and i'm sure Shane has said it isn't allowed. No idea if its happened in Divisions 2 or 3 recently and what the ruling was. Maybe it should be put in the final day rules in future although rule 12 in the rules are always posted at the start of the month can be used in this situation. |
