last, would you believe it! Apparently the nag couldn't even be bothered to race. Even though it gets free board and lodging and a regular brush from a lovely young lady. The ingratitude!

It's so much easier when the last-race specialists aren't in town!

Anyway, a good day's napping with s.kenbo leading the charge, having an Ice Slice for a cool 15/2 reward and a nine-spot rise to the top half.

And rising exactly the same distance with him was good old Dan Chipowski, benefitting from some Quiet Reflection. After reflecting for a short period he pocketed a beefy 7/1 to sit in 15th.

Up at the top second-placed Sing when ur winning got back to musical ways with a 9/4 that left him closer to our luckless leader - but not close enough! Lower down, Grok bagged 11/4 to gain three to 13th.

And three of our august company decided to go together on a Journey. Couldn't have been a long one as they only ended up with evens. But that was enough to push Hilly up a couple to fifth, mad 'yo-yo' hatter up two to 11th and Billposter up a couple towards half-way.
