Some nice winners today, headed by de44ek4 banging in Barton Gift at a chunky 8/1 to zoom up from the depths to 11th.

raspberrybottom earned a handy 9/2 on Saved My Bacon to climb six to eighth.

A 15/8 nudged Grok up a couple into fourth

and a 5/4 pushed petemac up five to half-way, at the same time putting him further up front of his nemesis shanelee1966, who, it seems, has too many distractions these days.

Best of luck on the 13th! It's lucky for some.

Hi Reged,

BT Engineer grilled sweetbreads on toast anyone?

He turned up yesterday, without notifying my wife as requested so that she could nip home from work to let him in (so as to speak!), then he pushed a note through the letterbox to say we had missed him....

Cannot now get them to come back until next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope they don't expect any payments for this sh1te service 'cos they will be very disappointed......

Anyway, to make it even worse, the forum was having a bad day so couldn't post a nap from work this morning.
To compound matters, vodafone was playing up also!
My napscomp@gmail.com nap sat in my outbox for at least 60 mins after I posted it to you (11.30am). Whether it got to you within the one hour deadline I don't know, but it was Mister Mayagi so hopefully it did.

Looks like I may be taking a number of grace days in the next week as signing in from work (as i am now) is a bit risky.

madhatter - the email route is working fine. Just use that while ur having troubles.

Just be grateful you will eventually be able to get high-speed broadband. BT has no plans for my north london redoubt even though the other side of the street has it. Then my sis phones from deepest cheshire to say she's hooked up to it! Grrrrr. You couldn 't make it up.
