murton99 is making a concerted bid for promotion as the month draws to a close. His second straight winner, Secret Asset, brought a plumpatious 6/1 return to send him up another six to seventh. Oarsum!

Three sagacious napsters knew Hope's Wishes would come good today, even if they didn't all know quite how it was spelt. The decent 7/2 return left dogdayafternoon up a spot to 13th, and postmannick and Andrew In Sweden both up five from the pit of doom.

madhatter continues to rock 'n roll with his sixth in eight at 5/2 to cling precariously to fifth. Failure would have seen him overtaken by another 5/2 winner feed the goat, who instead stays in sixth.

The day's winners are completed by three odds-on strikers, Billposter, standing still in fourth, Aquarius, slipping a place to eighth, and foxy rising one towards salvation.
