It's that man dogdayafternoon again. Second straight winner, at 2/1, puts him top of the dogpile, knocking yesterday's joint leaders off their cramped perch.
And with halcyon days scoring his second straight too, at odds-on, to stay rooted to third, it was especially bad for travelling man, who got bumped down three.
Top scorer was Fidway, with his first of the month, Basil Berry at 7/2, to hit 11th.
Several scored 2/1 besides our doggy chum: Value Seeker to grab seventh, Aquarius to go into 12th, and hong kong fooey and lead on to share 14th.
I bagged a 6/4 that left me glued to the spot in 10th and hoof hearted suffered the same fate in eighth with an odds-on.
