DIVISION 3 THURSDAY APRIL 30 (final day rules)

Final day of the month so last day rules in force.....

- All selections must be made before the official time of the first race of the day (1hr rule still applies)
- No duplicate selections
- No reserves or unnamed horses
- No 'Rest Day' allowance: those who don't post will automatically lose a point
- Non-runners can be changed as long as above rules are still met


First race:  1.35 Lingfield Happy

Told you it'd be interesting at the top ... only today it wasn't, with all our leading lights drawing a blank and our leaderette taking a rest day. Cry

So it was left to the charge of the light brigade, led by hong kong fooey, with a meaty 8/1 on Directorship  to climb seven to eighth. Cool Let's hope this means a new lease of life for the fooey, who started the month in fine fashion but then hit a drought.

Next best score came from unluckyStu residing where the sun refuses even a glimmer. He took 6/1 on Francisco  to rise three from the bottom. Grin Following him up, by just a place, was khyber kim with 4/1 on Mizzou.   Happy It can be tough at the bottom where distances between napsters mean even biggish numbers don't shift you very far. Mind you, while kk could only manage a place at 4s, steamship also nicked a place to 36th with an odds-on. Shocked

Arklearkle followed kim in on Mizzou to climb eight to 16th Happy and madhatter pocketed 5/2 to edge four places out of the darkness.

So, last day looms and all to play for. The top two look pretty unassailable, but the rest are well open to a last day dogfight. As always, may the best napsters win. Best of luck! Excited

* I should point out that, unless someone corrects me, due to another Div 1 retirement there will be six promo places again this month. So even more to play for.

And don't forget: everything in by 1.35 and no duplicates!
