Two more great winners on the penultimate day and things are cooking nicely at the top.

Biggest biffer of the day was Lord Charles, with Rolling Maul  at a heavyweight 8/1 that kicks him up eight to 13th. halcyon days could be a last day player after bagging Seventh Sky  at a hefty 6/1 to go up five to eighth. I think that would have been far more poetic if it had romped home at 7/1 to push him up seven to seventh, but that's just my the idealist in me!

Up at the top that man with the midas touch struck again - thar's gold in them thar iron filings! - DFCIRONMAN bagging his fourth on the trot, at 7/4, to edge to within a squidly of our luckless leader. The final day could be real interesting. "Not aiming at 2TR...............just trying to keep ahead of pack" says the spinach-eater. Nah, course not mate. We understand! What a final challenge!

Whippin Piccadilly notched his sixth on the bounce at evens to stay glued to third. But we have a returnee to the hallowed zone, motseel bagging a 2/1 winner to nudge up a couple to fifth.  It's poised for an intriguing last day! Could still be tears before bedtime.

Elsewhere, murton99 pitched in with 2/1 to climb six towards the light, though true salvation may have to wait another month. And khyber kim, languishing uncharacteristically in the nether regions, had an odds-on to gain a spot. Every little helps!
