Ming starts the month off in style with an 8/1 winning nap to set a searching pace at the top , well done

uptheboro must be straching his head at the sp after finding todays gamble. An even money winner seems scant reward , think it was 7/1 in a place last night

5 others started the month on a winning note after napping todays good thing

Ullo china, just been reading the n/r stuff on yesterday's thread, thought I'd throw my three penn'orth in

It's actually the same as our chat the other day about invalid selections: once someone has posted the 'rest day' rule no longer applies so a non-runner cannot be treated as a rest day.

As for penalising non-runners I think we all do it slightly different and it's really up to you. I take the in my view generous position that if the post is more than an hour and a half after the NR was declared someone is probably taking the p*ss, since it is their duty to check their nag is running when they post, and it aint exactly difficult to find out.

Reg it was withdrawn just a few mins before the off so knew there was no problem . Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something in the rules regarding last day non- runners as it was a query that would have meant someone different being promoted . When I saw you had settled it the same the issue was resolved quickly.

Any views on the point I brought up about very early posts for the final day. Seen these getting earlier and earlier in the last few months.This can be unfair on those who don't have a chance to look at the days racing until later on.

What i try to do on the penultimate days thread is state what time the final day thread will be up. On Saturday i posted that
the final day thread would be up at 3pm, i know a couple had posted for the final day well before 3pm which i let pass but from
next month i`ll make it clear all final day selections must be posted on the final day thread which i think is only fair.

And I got it wrong cos I had about 4 apart from the obvious one youknowwho put up and I hadn't really looked THAT hard. I was afraid it was going to be like Black Friday in Asda. And as for that trick of trying to get away with an obvious n/r words fail me. Not the sort of behaviour you expect from THE ELITE. I really was going to quit cos of him and Skinto and their detrimental effect on my blood pressure until I spotted it would let Skinto up.
