Do I have to post a selection everyday,bit confused.

UD posted all rules recently on TEAM thread ....so have set it out below for the new RACING DEMONS in case not spotted them yet. Hope retiring RDs are in fine fettle......going to be hard to select to standard they set in previous seasons....but I'm sure the "new" s will conjure up winners, based on past results of some of them......Just gotta get my form up to better standard

The Rules

There will be 10 fortnightly rounds, 20 weeks in total plus a Christmas break
Each round and each week within rounds will begin on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday.
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are allowed but no duplicate selections within teams at any time. Players must use their 1 selection per week, it cannot be carried over to the other week in the round.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or UAE Festival racing and Breeder's Cup meeting, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time. On Saturdays there will be a 3pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 3pm (1hr rule still applies).
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.
If you are selecting in a race after 3pm Saturdays you may leave a reserve just in case of non-runners. The reserve will only apply to your own selection and not any other teammates' non runner.
Other than above, reserve selections are not allowed, nor is posting "just-in-case"  selections for team mates that may or may not turn up.

Wildcards are available to cover holiday or other absence and covering for non-runners.
Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting.

Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections.
Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.
Scores will be accumulated through the fortnight, there will be no points awarded for weekly finishing positions.

Points structure for overall yearly comp:
Fortnightly winners will receive 6pts, runners-up - 5pts, 3rd - 4pts, 4th - 3pts, 5th - 2pts, 6th - 1pt

Round 9 - 15 Feb to 28 Feb
Round 10 - 1 Mar to 14 Mar

Reg it is entirely up to you whether you want to play short priced win only or go for longer priced win only or each way. Myself, ud & DFC generally play longer odds, I always look for a strong 4/1 Win only selection and never play odds on, but you can do whatever you like. Of course team tatic`s can come into play for example. If You are one of the last to select on a Saturday and already know the scores so far and we need a long priced winner, then normally I would go for it rather than play safe.

Raring to go here now that the proper NH season will be starting shortly. No all weather for me either!

3 yods dominant in 3.15.....AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH....Top weight probably too much for my guess! Your one was not wanting to race .....unlucky with that one.
