Not to put anybody off who fancies one in the Hennessy but I will almost certainly be picking one in that race as I just haven't the time to study anything else (not that studying seems to help ).Good luck with picks  |

Just had a quick look at Hennessy UD.....Never even knew it was on
 GOING, as usual, will be key.......but if goes to HEAVY then - Monbeg Dude - Appears relatively lightly raced recently, and may well be prepared for this race. As it might dry out a bit......meant to be sunny at Newbury today.....then may well ruin chances for MD. ================================================================= I think FBF has already selected ROCKY CREEK ....which looks a fair shout if going is SOFT.......Annacotty might do well on current going ??? Definitely a race where some good odds can be landed.....so GL "guys" with race .....RACE APPEARS TOO OPEN ON CURRENT GOING WITH A FEW VERY LIGHTLY RACED ONES THAT MAY WELL BE TARGETING THIS RACE SO WILL LEAVE IT TO TEAM TO LAND THE WINNER....THOUGH MD DOES BE THE ONE THAT MIGHT BE WORTH A SHOT EW IF IT RAINS TO MAKE GOING AT LEAST SOFT.( Suspect it won't win though if just SOFT........HEAVY might be better !) Had a quick look at BECHER earlier tonight ....Horses carrying low weight appear to be the ones that win the last few years bar 1 year.
SA falls into that category.....Chickened out the race though, as was many horses in with a strong chance of winning, and suspected the winner might be under 10-1 SP, so value for number of runners might be "poor" . OUR FATHER is borderline re weight .....odds may be poor value. HIGHLAND LODGE is one I napped in comp earlier this year....but can't remember much about it running......may well be targeted for this race. Odds a bit more attractive. No idea about Elliot's one......possibly going might find this one out at distance??? ALFIE SPINNER - Definitely looks aimed at this race.....but may well need more rain to figure. SAINT ARE - appears very well weighted and lightly raced. Cetaintly would not rule this one out .....but odds again a wee bit short for number of runners etc.... Bottom of weights horse .....no idea about ! ==================================================== Will wait a wee while before opting for TEAM nap to see how results go in earlier races .......... Currently torn between OUR FATHER and HIGHLAND LODGE . May well go for a late race nap for TEAM.( R Cutis seems to be having a right go at CHEPSTOW....and may be a trainer to check out for nap. Will wait to see what GOING likely to be before "guessing" one.GL "guys" today. Cheers the noooooooooooo |

I agree about the price being short DFC, that's why I'll pass on it, also like last year's 4th Ballybough Gorta a much more appealing 33-40/1.
