Bad luck last tonight, very disappointing performance.
Decided to risk one today. 12.25 Thurles - Somethingwonderful EW Hopefully it won't be more like somethingdisastrous. No two ways about it the horse hasn't lived up to early promise but he has always looked liked a future chaser so fingers crossed this is his chance to shine. Cooper has gone with the favourite but Russell has won on him and he has attracted a little support. |

He was backed from 16/1 to 7/1 and I had a little each-way at 11/1 without the favourite. Pretty sure I would have collected something. If pushed I think he might have finished second as the winner has run right through the line. For the most part he did jump very well.
Hopefully, we have a bit better fortune with the other selections. |

Was going to go for one at Wolves tonight but struggling to find anything so I'll go for the most impressive Novice Hurdle winner I've seen for some time. Hopefully can cope with this rise in class and beat the Nicholls hotpot. Good luck for the weekend guys |

Went well. Got a call yesterday from the manager and I came a close second, beaten a short head. He would have set me on but the Area Manager went with someone else.

Well done China, I was also impressed with Maximiser LTO and he was my nap in the div comps. A pity one was pulled out, but not a bad price. I was really surprised the fav was 8/13
 I'm looking at one in the 2.25 Haydock tomorrow (not the fav). |

Morning guys, as we're in a good position i've selected what I consider to be reasonable EW chance at good odds, although the fact it's one of my favourite trainer/jockey combinations might have some bias to my reasoning
Spirit Of Shankly - 2.25 Haydock The almost certain favourite, Volnay De Thaix could be thrown in, even with the penalty and I had considered this one, but it was only just over a week he go that he ran 20f on soft going (although didn't have a hard race). Nevertheless I think SOS will give a good account and he's over 4 times the price. Good luck to all those remaining to play |

Going to go for Menorah in the Betfair Chase e/w. Main concern is that this is likely to be more attritional than the Charlie Hall, but if he repeats that performance he should go close and 10/1 therefore looks a good price to me. Good luck all. |

Passed up a winner last night and now find I've got nowt having had a good look at today's cards
 Gonna play what I hope is a 'safety shot' and go for Miss Buckshot EW in the 2.35 Lingfield. She was quite an eye-catcher on turf at Goodwood, and after disappointing on her next start, is now looking progressive on the AW. She's up 5lb for her win lto, but stays in the same grade and this time is in a race for fillies & mares. Hopefully all 8 will stand their ground. Good luck all Shane, you forgot to post a nap in the AW comp, you'll be on your last race pick unless you post otherwise. |
