Caid Du Berlais - 2.30 Cheltenham 5pts e/w
Good luck team. George - i`m going to be out most of the afternoon, buying tiles and bathroom. Would you please oversee things? It looks like all eight of us are ok to post, though you never know. |

I'll be heading to Cheltenham tomorrow and I've put up Persian Snow in the Paddy Power e/w. My favourite trainer is in a purple patch of form at the moment so lets hope for a big run.
George if for some reason he's a n/r could you put up Big Easy in the following race. Good luck those selecting tomorrow. |

Good luck all tomorrow , looks like the PP is the main race.
Well done on your 8-1 nap today Shane |

I've gone for Hannahs Princess - 12.25 Wetherby, it looks a safe EW, in fact I think it will win, but I want to consolidate our good start to the week.
Shane, well done on your 8/1 winner in the naps comp and good luck with the job. Good luck to all that are yet to play |

Looking at my AW comp picks, no great confidence in anything, so gone for a bit of speculative one in the 2.35 Lingfield - Energia Fox EW.
She had Group 1 placed form in Brazil prior to joining Marco Botti, for whom she made an encouraging debut in a Listed race at Windsor against males, when not getting the clearest of runs up the rail before going on nicely at the finish. EF was then upped in in class and distance for the Park Hill but after taking a grip, didn't see it out and was eased when beaten. Botti has given her 2 months off since and she's eased back in class here, trying the AW for the first time (one of her siblings is a winner on an artificial surface). The stable do have a more obvious contender in Energia Davos, and I'm hoping Energia Fox isn't in there just as a pacemaker (doesn't sound like it reading the trainer's comments), but remembering the promise of the Windsor run, I'm gonna give her a chance EW at around 20-1. |

Cracking pick, Captain
And my longshot guess placed too, so we've got the lead - for the time being at least! |

Just got back in, well that`s the tiles paid for
Great place points George & Andrew, well done. |
|

An excellent selection Shane, 2 consecutive 8/1 winners in Div 2 as well that puts you in a good position.
Disappointed with my place points (really expected it to win) and surprised it ended up so short, but a few points better than my miserable effort last week A very good week guys, onwards and upwards etc |
|
By:
Sorry George, well done with the place points, only just seen it
|
|
By:
Shane your on fire , great selection. Hope you had a bit on yourself.
Nice supporting place points from George and Andrew gives us a great week |
|
By:
Cheers lads. A decent team effort this week, be well placed going into week 2.
Well done all seven of you. Good luck next week troops. |

How did it go today Shane ?
|
|
By:
Well, i had an interview last Tuesday (Tile Warehouse) which went well. I called in today to buy some tiles and to have a chat with the manager. I`ve a second interview next Thursday, only me and one other got one.
It`s a better basic, though not a great deal, around £40 p/w. Then there is commission if targets are hit. Not as far to travel either. |
|
By:
Good luck with that Shane , hope it works out for you.

Thanks china,

Well done on a top drawer winner. Just a shame from our point of view that a couple of others also found it. Still we had six scorers and that isn't going to happen too often but the same again next week would be nice.
Had a couple of looks at today and filed under too difficult. |
