BrendanScrote is the latest humdinger-pinger, showing that perseverance can pay off. He bagged Off The Pulse at a splendiferous 12/1 to climb 15 places from the pit of the undead to just four from the half-way point.
Pulsating I call that! 
A little higher MisterBadger scored his second in four, One Pursuit at 4/1, to climb nine to just above the half-way point.
A thin day though, our only other winners being Monte Christo, with a 3/1 score that edged him up a place to third, and DAN1974 with an odds-on strike.
