lead on hits the places with a terrific 7/1 winner, So Beloved. It's just one place up, but fifth has a nice ring to it. And he's got a £2 plus lead to help ward off the bandits tomorrow. Our leader has suddenly come to life in the last few days, 10/1 on Saturday and 2/1 yesterday. Nice work!

But the nap of the day comes from Facts, who appropriately enough shoots up nine on the back of Cool Macavity at 9/1. He's just below the half-way point now. Cool nap that ends an 11-day drought. Guess what the price of the last one was? Yup, 9/1 again!

MOB scored a lumpy 9/2 on Scarborough, but it only gained him a a place to seventh. Odds-oners from pumphol, now all but impregnable in third one would have thought, ThreeToFour (six from the last nine), and the doughty alleged22 wrap things up.

They shouldn't have, because we actually had another hefty winner at 5/1. But MisterBadger really needs to get his head around the 1-hour rule, or buy a new watch. So does pumphol, whose fortunately losing post for Polo Minx was also out of order.

There's no escaping the fact that it's going to be a challenge kicking any of those top five out. But that's no reason not to go for it. Shortly I'll be publishing my quick "what's needed" calculator. Go for it! And the best of luck! May the best napsters win!
