I've had to get out the smelling salts, as well as actually book an appointment with specsavers. When everyone was congratulating Virgin today I checked and thought he'd got a loser, so they must have been talking about his 12/1 stonker yesterday. What do I see when I come to do the table - another humungous nap! I demand to know what he's puttting in his tea, because I want some! Third winner on the bounce, Ma Filleule at 9/1 - nine ta bleedin one!
So there virgy sits, alone and imperious at the top, on more that 22 squidilios, master of all he surveys and dreaming of life above. Very well done anyway!
But what is just as surprising, or even more possibly, is that four of our esteemed gathering pounced on the same 6/1 winner, Beat That. I see it was the top tipster's tip in the naps table. Coincidence? Mmmmmm. Anyway, three scooted up nine places as a result, sing when ur winning to fourth, Tightfisted, trying desperately to catch Grok (he'll have a job as he looks headed for the Prem already!) to fifth and stewpot to sixth. The fourth man was kpf, up 13 to 11th. Phew!
Also on the edge of glory is unluckyStu with his third winner on the trot, at 3/1, unfortunately with a small R4 cut. And a special mention to atk1304, a 7/2 winner and up six to mid-table.
Well done all winners. Best of luck Saturday.
