Shane  you run a comp  and do it very well  heres my advice to all you settlers .. do away with the last race fav  ..why if a guy cannot be arsed to post  or to busy to post  well he /she should lose a point  . it unfair on us guys who post  every day .. when its possible to win this comp  with say 3 winning  post and 5 or 6 last race favs .. think about it   zip puts up a 5/1 winner  a 11/4 winner and a 5/1 winner  thats 13 points then sit back  and lets see what happens ...18 points will win most divs on here ..and i only tried 3 times

Reged  if you was a bookie and a punter had a bet with you say a score on the fav and it happens a lot more than you think .. ok you give him a ticket   last night the fav was withdrawn last 5 secs .. you dont put him on the second fav  ok it won but it was not the fav when the bet was struck ..he gets his money back cause the fav was a N/R

I settled it as a NR because Hypnotism still had a price quoted on SL as being the fav. Wonder what FCH will come up with in his research.

whether it was fav when bet was struck surely is irrelevant ... surely such bets are on the SP fav, not the fav at the time of the bet? I'm not starting an argy here BTW, just genuinely intrigued by this conundrum

Clearest guide I c an find is this from Corals rules:

Where a horse is withdrawn not under starters orders but is still returned favourite (i.e. no new market is formed), then bets on that favourite are void. Bets will not transfer to the second favourite.

Shane   same with that Champions comp  take a look there all ducking and diving  .. you could put up a 7/1 winner  and lose  to some won who did not win but he ran up with a guy who did not win.. sounds daft cause it is daft ..... Champions evey walk of life WIN   .. a joke Wigan  won the Prem cause they lost the least ...

zips - in a nutshell, the format of the champions league gives napsters like me a chance. It`s a different format, so I could easily beat the best napster in the leagues, otherwise I wouldn`t.

Going by the Corals rules that Reged found, we'll go for the non-runner option for the LRF yesterday.

zipper went top with a good winner in Trafalgar at 9/2.
