Anyhow Soldier ain't climbing the divisions he is slowly trekking his way to the welcome abode of PeteMac were Uncle Reg and family will greet him with open arms and kisses and smiles and laughter.(not too many kisses though as Shane may get jealous) You can do or say what you like in Division 3 just as long as you do and say it on time.  |

It was said in jest, hence the devil emoticon! If soldier came down off his high horse and stopped being so precious he would've realised that. There were 3 other people who didn't (I presume) take offence to it. Now put your toys back in your pram and let your betting prowess show me how it's done.
I've heard plenty about Reg's 1/20 shot!!!!!! But I believe he was protecting his position near/at the top of the table? I don't think it was the 2nd of the month. Pete, I have just washed my mouth out with soap. (that was a joke by the way) I know some people have difficulty deciphering!!  |

I was just throwing a little ice on the fire to try and cool things down a bit with you and Soldier as it seemed as if it was flaming up. You may be aware nobody has slagged off these big odds on tips more than myself (I just don't get it unless it is your last couple of naps and you have one eye on promotion or survival) but I have always tried to keep it from getting personal but sometimes it does look a lot worse in words than you meant it. I think I have upset Salmon once or twice in the past and hopefully will upset a few more times in the future.(he is on holiday) Though it would be nice to keep the swearing blotted out and keep the leagues clean I think the organizers deserve at least that. Keep the craic and banter going but try and avoid it being too personal. |

As pete alluded too, the most important thing, even more so than the rules is for the comp to be fun, fair, friendly.

pete to be brutally honest it was you that started most of the criticism of odds on shots months back when I was in the Prem, and the rest just jumped on the bandwagon. Fun and friendly competition?? Sadly those days have gone.

Outright happiness when my selections lose isn't exactly in the spirit of the competition though is it Reg? And believe me I've had that plenty of times on here.

The 1-25 shot was close to evens before its main rival was declared a non-runner in the morning. Some might have napped it the night before expecting close to evens .
