yyyw didn't post in the Naps tables yesterday and hasn't done today so if anyone wants to put up a wildcard for her please feel free. Given I have already picked in the Irish Derby I am well out of my comfort zone with no NH racing so I'd rather somebody else did it.
twm DID post yesterday and there is an evening meeting at Lingfield so I am hoping he will show. |
|
By:
Ah yyw can put up her own wildcard
![]() |
|
By:
the reason yyw didn't post in yesterday's naps table was because she couldn't take any further humiliation this month
![]() ah well, let's hope for better things today and next month naps wise. |
|
By:
Clever tactic as you got a winner courtesy of LRF.
|
|
By:
I think twm is leaving this too late.
So if anybody wants to play a wildcard feel free. |
|
By:
I did!? I've been too busy too check... ha ha, my cunning strategy paid off
right, this is a very short one I'm afraid, but hopefully a win is a win 5:25 Chester - Gabrial's King - 10 pts win fingers crosed. |
|
By:
Good luck everybody to play.
COME ON TWM ! |
|
By:
Not what I call short yyw.

|
By:
if no-one else has a wildcard for twm, my second choice was
5:35 Newmarket - sharqawiyah you're all better than me, so please replace with something more likely to do well ![]() |
|
By:
I'm no good at all on the flat.
Put it up yyw. Say it's a wildcard for twm. |
|
By:
okay Cap'n...

Thank you yyw. Your volunteering has been noted.
That's all sorted then so I am off as I want to be back for 6.30. G/l all ![]() |

Good place pts in the derby |

We got at least 3 seconds AGAIN. At least I did mine e/w unlike you and yyw. the dealer, who I suspect has been our most consistent scorer this year, managed a nice little winner. So we won't finish last this week.

Heres a leg up Salmon......all you need to do now is explain it to your team
DeSSieReborn 11 Jun 13 14:50 Everyone needs to read this.....Players posting a horse thats running after cut off time on Saturday are affected. From now on, as well as your selection post a reserve at the same time, and if the selection is withdrawn for any reason the reserve will be accepted. Great news this, will take a bit of the pressure off I think, as several times I've wanted to post a late one at evening meets but wouldn't for the very reason it could become a NR and then the selection is lost. dunter1 10 Jun 13 12:48 Late wild cards for picks after 4pm Can a reserve selection be attached Undecided? I know it's not good if you have a non-runner after the cut-off, just slightly wary of added workload if everyone does it, but yeah ok let's see how it goes. Thanks for that undecided last two late wild cards were NRs and felt powerless to put right. |
|
By:
Fair enough Dessie I hadn't seen that. But tbh I think if everybody does it then it will get complicated. I honestly thought the whole point of the 4.00PM cut-off was to encourage people to pick earlier in the week/day as they risked getting a n/r.
|
|
By:
The idea of the comp is to have an equal number of selections in the week for each team. Anything that helps that is good in my book. People posting a selection early in the week or before 4pm on saturday get an advantage in that if their selection is a non runner they pick again. Why shouldnt someone whose fancy runs after 4pm on saturday enjoy that same privelege?
|
|
By:
I can see why ud wants a 4.00PM cut-off but it lays itself open to us having 5 or 6 reserves. And I don't think I have to educate the whole team. There's nothing to stop Lampus and myself nipping round and putting up Spotform selections say in each race somebody else has picked in after 4.00.
Incidentally ud has admitted he should have made it clear to all and not just posted it on one team thread. You might be nosy enough to read them all but I only read yours |
|
By:
LOL well you should have picked it up then because I posted it all in ours!!! I don't like to see ANY team lose a selection through unfortunate circumstances, and the actual workload is not great because the reserve thing is not triggered unless someone does have a non runner in those saturday evening selections. If thats the case, all they need to do is say to UD "I posted xxxxx as a reserve" and it will take UD a minute or two to check it on the selections thread. You probably read it and thought "bah humbug".......

By:
I lied when I said I read your thread
