Usually pops up this time of the year, and has done so in his last couple of seasons, including this race last year. Just like last year he is giving some indication he's coming to hand, and connections quickly pop the blinkers back on after a couple of spins without them. The handicap for the principles in the market looks quite tight knit, and BPB has form that gets him in that mix, with the drop in trip and assured pace a major positive.
