So off we go on another breakneck race through the month. A quick welcome to all the new faces, some slithering down from 'better things' above, plus a very healthy crop of newcomers. Some of those returning from on high are known to us, and I am probably much happier than they are to see them here.
Must say it was a shock to see hong kong fooey among their number - a Class A napster sadly fallen on hard times (pass the tin). I'm sure his visit will be pleasant but brief (petemac please note). And for the newbies, it's great to have you on board. Hope you enjoy the ride and stay the course and, of course, get us lots of juicy naps to show the nobs upstairs where the real napping powerhouse is!
Just one point before I continue: I have decided for this division to slightly change the LRF rules so that, until someone has made their first post for the month, they will not 'benefit' from the LRF rule unless they have warned me in advance they will be unable to post. This is to prevent the rather ludicrous situation we had last month of History Maker, who had clearly thrown in the towel, leaping up the table on the back of LRFs. We have five people from last month who have not posted yet and I have no idea if they wish to continue or not. So until that is clear - ie they either tell me or make their first post, LRF won't apply. I guess I should have given notice about tbis and if there is an uproar I am prepared to reconsider, at least for this month. I only decided on it today though when I came to do the table.
Okay so we're well up in numbers, which is great, but not well up in winners, which is not so great. Super to see Virgin back after a few months absence and immediately get into winning ways though. Our napster of the day collects 9/2 on Astrum.
Close behind is fortieschild, who caught Sleep In First at 4/1.

Then we have the only one of the new intake to score on their first day, what's yor nap, who backed Macklin at 5/2. Bringing up the rear were dukeofpuke and sing when ur winning, both 6/4 winners on Mayfair Music and Prodigality respectively.
Well done winners. Hard luck the toiling masses. Tell you one thing - bank holiday Monday is mad! Glad there aren't too many of them!

How many participants Reg? Shane, i take that back about Premiership in 6 Months, make it a year.
Welcome all newcomers don't be afraid to voice an opinion but lets keep the craic clean and appreciate the amount of time and effort these settlers put into these competitions. From early morning to the early hours sometimes. I have run a race trip for 44 members for the last 20 years and it has 4 or 5 Comps running on a daily basis so i know how time consuming it can become and it is not always smooth running and some days you think what the hell. But if you aint been here before i am sure you will enjoy the fun "just watch out for the fishy ones"
HKF i backed yours today it had a lot of horse left at the buisness end of the race so looks one to keep an eye on. Not fancy much tomorrow so gone for one in a novice chase no betting up but may be around 6/4 fav.

Reged, KBGJ will no longer be taking part Due to finding out my job role is changing from this morning, I'm gutted to say I can no longer take part in the daily nap challenge myself and also put KBGJ's selection through for him due to being out on the road and not in the office anymore, this the same reason I had to start putting KB's on for him when his role changed last year,

Hey HKF at 12.55 today I noticed you had only posted a non runner and thought about our little side bet and said to myself he is using Salmon tactics for the sake of a few quid. Yes it was then it struck me I had never realised HKF stood for Haddock , Kippers and Fillet of Cod.
A few minutes later I owed you an apology.
Fed up today mate gonna have a big un on my MANL selection got in from work about 5ish had a cuppa turned my pc on to put bet on thinking it was in the 5.35 it was the 5.05 why don't they ever get beat when that happens?
