Goodness, a table up before 5pm! As they say up in the land of the haggis, the nights are fair drawing in!
And *sigh* well, I can't keep asking Trusty to avert his gaze or he'll think there's a conspiracy afoot. Which there is, it seems: to win the comp with odds-on shots! So yet again the bitter struggle taking place in the elevation zone saw petemac and learning thegame trade blows with odds-on winners that left them exactly where they were but slightly richer. BillyWhizzle too added a few pence to his defences in fifth position.
Top napster today was much lower down, where JRAS found his first winner for seven days in Tobrata at 5/2 to rise three places nearer salvation. Up above dukeofpuke and Weaver Fish took 9/4 on Pete The Feat. duke rose three to mid-table comfort, Weaver five to not quite so comfortable but much better than the pit of doom thank you very much.
Ah, long gone it seems are the days of people storming up the table with stonking winners and sticking a couple of thumbs up at the rest of the divs. Still, a few pence beats losing a squid I guess. I should know. I've been losing quite a few myself lately.

Hi Reg hope your Luck changes soon enough (it will for sure).
I have had enough of this odds on talk so in a tricky 4yo Chase in the mud i am going for what i think will be the outsider of 6 jumping its first fence, it caught my eye over hurdles recently and though i wasnt expecting it chasing just yet i will give it a go. Its a wide open race, i fell lucky with the top horse at Wetherby recently but it never convinced me that much to be backing it again.
