It's been nine luckless days since uptheboro last sat in fourth place. But the nap of the day, Princess Caetani  at 4/1, has put him right back in the thick of the promotion battle, up eight places from yesterday. Could this be the month he makes it onwards and upwards? There's only about a £4 spread over the 10 places below so it's very tight. Another winner or two in the five days remaining may well be necessary.

Also leaping firmly into the quest for elevation is One Shot 2 Shot with the 7/2 Balmont Mast  lifting him six places to seventh. learning thegame's battle is summed up by his winner today, Hard Road,  but its 11/4 hard cash puts LT in the promotion scrap as well, up five places to tenth. And bluenose7 could pose a last gasp threat after taking 11/8 on Vulcanite  to rise five spots to 13th. Could be an interesting finale.

betme was up with The Lark  to take 7/2 and jog four places away from the vat of despair ...
caress finally leapfrogged angeleyz into second with an odd-on success - second straight winner - that also gave a two-place boost to Horny38DD somewhat lower down the table.

Well done winners. We need an all out effort now as the finishing tape hoves into view. Best of luck!
