Not at all madhatter. Confidence is the key ... and you should have plenty, having tasted the giddy heights before! Just look at today's start to the month: a very handy clutch of winners led by, who's that at the top, of yes, you mad - the slightly less barmy one of the two for those that are asking - with a splendid selection of Southway Star  at 6/1. It sets just the right tone for the rest of the month. Well done mad ... lots more please and don't argue!

So, an official welcome to one and all for the new month of earnest napping: slight commiserations to those that join us from on high - some of whom, of course, are dear old friends. Slight because, since this is the best div of the whole lot, you've actually done yourselves a huge favour! And welcome to all the newcomers - you'll find it very relaxed here. There's just one house rule: lots of winners!

Good to see zipper getting off on the right foot (left one's playing him up I hear). True to zips rallying cry of "it's all bent, lump on" he determined, again in his words, to "get the month off to a flyer" and succeeded with Orpheus Valley  for a 4/1 reward. Hope that made the wife and nurse happy zip!

Talking of threesomes, we then had angeleyz, ATone and learning thegame paying homage to the sadly absent Red Hand  - absent, it appears, because he doubles up as a thoroughbred, and a pretty nifty one at that, coming home today at 3/1. Well done Red, but hope you can rejoin us soon.

Horny38DD took Rundell  for a spin and collected 11/4 while dukeofpuke got a handy 2/1 on Baily Green.  BillyWhizzle, who was perhaps unlucky not to have the chance of a final crack at promotion last month, is still not with us, but his instruction helped him to a bob or two, while shanelee1996 instantly opened his account, albeit in modest fashion  with an odds-on shot. Not to worry shane, it's more than your old man managed - ask him if his clock has lost its hands(he rubbishes shane's efforts with the broken clock metaphor). Weaver Fish's instruction left him with a similar reward.

Well done winners. Let's kick arse this month - take your inspiration from the Ryder Cup, it ain't over till ... mmmmm there were too many fat ladies at Medinah: thank god none of them sang!
