Our top story today (apart from my incompetence that is! ) is of the triumph of will over adversity. uptheboro has been struggling to find a winner for so long his lucky selection pin has ground down to a stump! Finally, today, he sets his eyes on Jamesbo's Girl  and it's love at first sight - oh and an extremely sexy 8/1 return to boot, making the man who would be bottom rise in an instant 19 places to mid-table mediocrity! Well done boro! I knew you'd do it!  Just because your footballing mates are languishing in a lower div doesn't mean you have to!

His victory caps another grand day for winners, although our top two were losers. Notice how all five of our leaders are now in double figures on the money. I haven't seen the latest tables, but this morning not a single person in the other divs had achieved that. I think we should invert the competition and make this the Div of Divs! So wear that Div 3 tag with pride guys and gals!

Five of you brought home 7/2 winners, and not all of them were Black Spirit.  Those that did settle for this dark choice - drink or ghost do you reckon? - were: bluenose7 with his third winner in six days putting him equal fourth; madhatter, inching three places closer to the promo zone; and sonofshinner, who climbed eight places further from the pit of irrelevance with his second straight win. Pauli found Pettochside  to rise two spots and madhatters got his second straight winner with Novirak  to rise three places!

Also on the winners podium was angeleyz with the 11/4 The Gold Cheongsam  which unfortunately wasn't enough to shift him onto a launch pad. Nijinsky clung to fourth after scoring with Wild Coco  at 7/4. The same steed helped pension fund inch up a place and split the two mad guys - just as well probably!

New boy deadbrain59 is more accustomed to laying shorties than backing them, but he found his first winner today with the first horse that was actually willing to run for him - the 10/11 Tamarkuz.  Its modest return gave him a modest rise of two spots. KBGJ also gained a place with a shortie, as did Weaver Fish. But MOB's 10/11 win left him stuck in the mud!

Anyway, that's a very nice looking table. What a great div to be running. Best of luck tomorrow guys!

Can I just raise a query on today's table. My balance seems to have gone from 4.18 to 0.56 for 1 loser.
