So, the first seven days and the division rocks on! A bountiful crop of winners (yes EVEN shane! ) on a beautiful day - so nice I even went outside to remind myself what a garden looks like! And even though our three leaders all lost today, their totals are already big enough to be the top two and maybe top three napsters in the whole competition (just seen former Div 3 Head Boy china castle landed a 16/1 today so he may be up with us). Fantastic! We are building up a mighty reputation guys and gals. Mind you, I suppose we'd better be careful or no one will want to leave and everyone above will want to get relegated to join  us! Think I'd have to hand it back to Trusty at that point!

So Div 3 leaders, I hope you are keeping an eye on that ant-like army of challengers just below. It was in by the twos and threes again, to the extent that we have three top napsters pauli, madhatter and JH Rogers all going for Zacynthus  and all getting a 6/1 reward. That gave pauli an eight-place lift into fourth, mad rose 11 places to sit just outside the levitation zone, and JHR got an even bigger boost, rising 12 places to sit just behind him. Very well done chaps.

Chief sufferer in all that was angeleyz, who is still in the promo zone but dropped a place despite bagging his fourth winner in five days, going slightly less than wild on Offbeat Safaris  at 6/4. The same pick pushed Lusitano71 three places further away from eternal nothingness. Another double act came from  WakingtheDead and dukeofpuke who got a 15/8 return on Croeso Mawr. Didn't do a lot for WTD but, with his second winner in two days, DOP got a six-place boost to join the challenging group.

The 11/8 on Prussian  didn't help swift-tuttle much either - a three-spot drop as the bigger winners pushed past. But it did put geos1 one place higher.

And yes, at last, Naps Comp uber stalwart shanelee1966 got off the mark with the 9/2 Hamoody  - he'd sounded pretty confident about it the night before - which meant a. he rose 16 places from where, Atlas-like, he had been propping up the division, and b. he's now sitting just under the old man in joint 17th (sorry shane, it's that alphabetical thing again - your dad should have called you Albert).

And finally age 21 showed off some Talent  by backing it at 6/4 for a two-spot lift. Really well done winners. Great day's napping!

And then there's poor uptheboro, who finds himself propping up the division yet again. I could understand if he was getting bit tired of it all, especially coming as close as he has on a few occasions. I'm in  a similar boat at the moment. Ya just have to keep going. It'll come, one day! Let's hope it's on Super Saturday! Good luck everyone.
