The plaudits say it all: "absolutely incredible run", "legendary status indeed". china castle has done it again, the seventh straight winner, a solid string of 1s in his form box. Yesterday I thought to myself 'nah, he can't keep this up, maybe I'll use his pick as my lay in the lay comp for a laugh'. Bloody glad I didn't! The price wasn't at all spectacular by his standards, but dethroning King Of Windsor at 9/4 meant he broke the £40 barrier! Heaven alone knows what his end of month total is going to be. Does anyone keep records for this comp?

Not a huge amount else to talk about, unfortunately, although that is a blessing for me in that it means I don't have too much to write about - and I'm knackered! The end of the Olympics can't come too soon, as I have become a junkie and, as I explained on another thread, after dining out last night I just had to watch it on iplayer - till 4am!

So that's why I am so late, for which I apologise!

Our top layer yesterday was age 21 who put out Hunter's Light at 3/1. Age has been steadily creeping towards the zone of contention and this little beauty lifted him six places closer. khyber kim moved into third with the 11/8 Certify, which also lifted MOB two places in mid-table. And caress got a boost from her instruction, the 5/2 Gospel Choir, to the tune of eight places.

Well done winners, and best of luck to the brave few who have a go today.
