DIVISION 3 SELECTIONS FOR THURSDAY Jul 19

Great naps raspberry & lagmorian

There was a time, and it was but a few days ago, when lagmorian felt the weight of the entire division upon him. But in less than two weeks he has not only vaulted out of purgatory but, with today's blockbuster 16/1 nap of  Jordaura, shot up 12 places to sit just one place off the promotion zone. Terrific tipping lag. One more leap like that and you're as good as going upstairs.

That, obviously, was the nap of the day, but it had hot competition, on a good day for the division, from raspberrybottom, who, praise be, marked up the 12/1 My Lord to lift himself back into the top echelon and second place. With Earth To Mickey and WakingtheDead picking up small wins themselves, it means our top three are just behind ardgirl in Div 2 - who's having an amazing run at the moment - as the top four earners across the divisions. Great work!

There were some useful winners lower down the scale, MOB creeping a place higher with the 6/4 Niger, and MyOhMy lifting himself 10 more places clear of purgatory with the 5/1 Red Cape. And on the day when he was beaten into second place in the lay comp (which starts again Friday folks if you're interested) pumphol found Victor Hewgo at 4/1 to shoot eight places towards the sunlight. A big well done to all today's winners.

There would have been one more, but miscreant man, apparently struggling with his work computer, failed to make it in time. Hard luck MM.

All round, though, a very good day. Keep it up guys!

PS: I've just spotted there's a mistake in the table (again: groan) which unfairly trakes a point off Cloughie1 so I'll have to repost it.
