Ran a funny sort of race Lto behind Vintage Star, and did not go unbacked. You can see why connections are reaching for the blinkers, and will be much more suited to a decent pace over this trip.

hereford 2.30 clarion call 10/3 nap sj......rp says hampered 3 out at towcester....the horse was actually nearly brought to a standstill on the steepist part of the track and did so well to pick up and finish in great style, horse went straight in the notebook after that.....the run was so much better than the form reads........horse has ew smashability with the low weight plus Wedge 3lb claim
haydock 2.10 springfield raki 11/1 nb......feb rpr of 122 plus 10lb claimer looks to hold every chance in this, leap of faith requied after lto but was very good value at 16/1 last night..

Unusual for me to fancy a horse who's hcp mark has gone up without a win but the drying ground a drop in grade are all plus points, trainer bang in form also, the one to beat is Star In Flight also a front runner who is unlucky not to be on a hat trick of wins, I think Times will cope better with being taken on for the lead better than Star, also not every horse takes to these brush hurdles & Times has had a spin round Southwell, think the price is more than fair especially as the ground seems to have gone against others near the fore of the betting.
