Thnx GEORGE - the story with this one is a few of us went to July meetinf at Newmarket last year, and we'd had a football betting syndicate through the winter. On the day we each had £50 to spend on every race and then pool any returns.
On the way up I was going on about this Rougemont as a proper e/w prospect and how I expected it be much shorter SP than its forecast morning price. Suffice to say when the money never came I ducked out and missed us a 25/1 winner. Today I backed it early at 25+ and happened to be down the pub with two of our syndicate who went to Nmkt last year ( i spend far too much time down the pub, but somethings gotta kill yer). they came along about five to three today and were not too happy at all when i cheered this home! |
