Yeah was definitely gutted, bloody horse planted itself at the start, so instead of making the running had to come through the field instead.. Was worth over 1k to me too, oh well Laugh

Good luck for today and tomorrow lads.

Harleelin just when I thought I was almost recovering from a serious detox experience, ive had to seek medical help already, dont do that BlushBlushLaugh
serious guys every now and then if you feel you are due one . . go for it . . esp if it is in week 1
could seal it for us all Wink
but as you have placed with a 50-1, and you already you know what a big help that was
no hard fast rule from me, cant always truely assess everybodys thinking for the circumstances as they see it
we all have varying strengths of opinions, we are all right & wrong to varying degrees,
and there are the odd ones who are always right ............ before they remind me  LaughLaugh

I certainly dont like to curb any enthusiasm Devil

best of luck to all players
have an enjoyable afternoon guys
nice to be back

Never mind lads not to be
Billy commentator said 'jockey never attempted to put it into the race', jockey said 'flat out after 1m'
cant believe they just accepted jocks comments when actions didnt match Confused
By:

When: 20 Oct 12 07:11
It's a tricky one stew as it's looked from previous runs that he needs nursing into contention and in a better race he couldn't be 'nursed' close enough.
I would have been more bothered if he'd stayed on up the hill for a clear 3rd, as looked likely turning in, but it appears there was nowt in the locker........or maybe
that was part of the plan?!?!?

Got my tweed out and I'm off to Gloucestershire, good luck all

Morning thieves, don't try running up the hill billy!!
By:

When: 20 Oct 12 10:40
Enjoy your day Billy looks like a good one
Dont disagree with any of your comments Billy and the finishing position may well be as good as he is
I just thought there should have been some visible evidence to support his flat out 1mile out comment
never off the bridle on tv shots, and jumped with 'loads of energy' IMHO
if accepted all other jockeys are free to ride that way
and no point in any inquiries - QED

just me moaning - cant believe volume of explanation accepted these days
