Going to York races last Sat
Got up early to catch the going report on the Morning Line The c.o.c said soft going with the odd shower likely.which turned out to mean constant rain all afternoon After a journey of 1 hour 20 mins which i am told could be done in 30 mins we arrived and decided to try a pint of yellow water supposed to be lager a snip at 3.95 a go After a terrible day,i thought i would try a P/Pot at the Lingfield evening card Asked the tote staff if i could collect at my local Baldfred.No probs they said,but you have to place the betwith the Baldfred outlet just round the corner.The Baldfred counter clerk then tells me they cant take the bet so go back to the tote So back at the tote window im told the computer wont take bets for evening racing. Baldfred owns the tote and i cant do a P/P with either We were supposed to be going to Magnet cup |
