Richard, should I be on 97.5 - 3 points for my 8th placing at Kempton on the 14th?
The way things are going I need every half-point I can get! |

By:
Incorrect GB, you tied for 8th/9th with Wakingthedead, so 2.5 points.

I don't know if this has been asked before. As you know i do IR and I have always treated non runner naps in the way described on the instructions on the spreadsheet. Non-runner with "NAP" rules: The "NAP" is banned, the selection goes on the favourite but the "NAP" is moved to the last race. The header for each competition says Any non runner (which can be substituted at any time before the off) will automatically go on the favourite, including naps. these two statements seem to be in conflict. It made me think about this because yesterday at Wolves, my nap Lady Caprice was withdrawn at the start and I gave myself the favourite in her race and moved my nap to my last race runner Illustrious Forest which won at 8/1. I won the competion and even if I had not got double points would still have done so: but obviously my points were enhanced. Can you please clarify thanks |

YSM, the stewards are discussing and will rule shortly! I will be updating the leaderboards during the day today.

Rule amendment / Clarification
Any non-runners (which can be substituted at any time before the off) will automatically go on the favourite. - As previously Non-Running Naps will be transferred to the selection in the Lucky Last (assuming no substitution has been made). In the event the selection in the last is a banned, the nap will transfer to the selection in the penultimate race and so on in the event that is also banned. |
