Welcome to the new 2011/12 MANL season, which will span the next 12 months.
Rules
There are two big differences that define us from the bog standard NAP competition
1) You are allowed to take a price for a horse, and the results are only settled as SP if you decide to NAP a horse after the MIDDAY DEADLINE.
2) You won't be penalised for not putting up a NAP every day.
All price taking for your NAP has to be done BEFORE NOON ON THE DAY OF THE RACE.. We do this to minimize any advantage between people who are/aren't around to take a price in the morning. An example of this can be seen below..

COURSE-TIME-HORSENAME-PRICE-BOOKMAKER followed by NAP or NB.

If you aren't around to take a price in the morning, then simply put (TP) instead of the odds, and you will be given the best price as of 11am.. an example of this can be seen below..

You also aren't required to NAP every day, but the majority of us do.. and I'd expect to be see a minimum of 20 days of NAPs. Your chances of winning the monthly comp are likely to suffer if you NAP any less anyway, as the winning profit is usually over the £30.00 mark.
You can only nb a horse before you NAP a horse if you state what the name of the future NAP is. The only way your nb will turn in to your NAP is if you state for your nb to be your NAP if your stated NAP is a non runner. A message below your NAP and NB will suffice
'e.g. Cheltenham 4.20 Denman 7/1 PP NB
IF Kauto Star is a non runner, I would like my current nb Denman to be my NAP'

Here goes i'm no expert but will enjoy the challenge of this.Don't get the time to study and follow the horses like i use to but still like to give it a go.

This one flew away from a maiden field without a push. You rarely see flat jockeys looking back the way Jimmy did that day- awesome talent by the looks of it

This one looks to be the one to beat on form along with Kinglet

Beaten less than five lengths last week at Catterick after a tardy start, the penny seemed to finally drop inside the final furlong & finished a never than nearer sixth, the extra two furlongs today will surely help & has better claims than many in this field, the 20/1 seems more than fair.

Welcome back, nice to see some names from the early part of last season.

Not a particularly confident first selection, followed Russian War last season and was extremely progressive, taken him on with Liberate, who if forgiven for his last start should have a chance. After all, Russian War wouldn't be the first Elliott short priced favourite to run terribly [smiley:crazy]
