Carlisle 3.15 Gentle Ranger 7/2 Nap

Ideally would have liked a 40 or 50/1 shot but have to be realistic,so going with Pipe and Scudamore making a long journey for just this one runner here today. Obviously the 26K for the winner is the main attraction for them but Pipe is 4 from 5 here for a very respectable 80% strike rate. A very competitive race but the selection did win over 3 1/2 miles LTO at Cheltenhem so stamina not an issue. Will take him to defy a 4lb penalty.

i napped this one last time out  so im gonna give it another go today, changed stables recently from hannons yard ,has won here before but lto came from way back and not a clear run to finish in 5th staying on ok ,lively e/w shout for me really today but last day of napping so willing to give this one a go ,top one hard to beat thou in this grade (very consistent imo)
