A contradictory word from me. Lucky Pins have been both very tolerant of absentees (eg Hoss and the man) as well as very accommodating of strong opinion (eg elmer thudd) and this admix has made for team threads that can be testy though trusting as well as hugely entertaining.
I believe in both tolerance and strong opinion and expect both from those I admire most. A robust conversation harms no one and opinions need to be aired and shared. GL this week, Pins. |

Gone for bold sir brian weth 1.20 ew. This is a horse the stable have high hopes for , he regularly works well with silver by nature and should run a respectable race today.
Good old Elmer , i wonder what he is up to bb. |

Missed 9/4 and 11/4 winners this week due to work pressure [>o]
Going with Kid Cassidy - New 3.15 |

Nice one, Ra Nova - just about the easiest winner of the day.

Nice one RN
![]() Going for Dream Alliance tomorrow as you may have guessed. If he's on a going day, and we should know that fairly early on in the race, I don't think he'll be far away. Remember he's only finished one chase since the 2007 Hennessey and that was the Welsh National. Won one of the free owners badges in the syndicate's draw for these so very happy. Good luck all. |

Good luck, FCH, hope you have a great day.

G/l all.
FCH all the best for tomorrow with DA. I am hoping for a big run from Silver By Nature for Lucinda and scu. This horse travels supremely well on the gallops but alas the ground has not come soft enough for him to win, but might scrape a place. |

gl FCH, hopes he comes home safe and sound

Gone to Kempton for today's pin-job as I've done the card for the AW comp. My Love Fajer (EW) 2.40 Kemp. (14s with VC bet at the moment).
Placed twice from 2 runs at Kempton, he's drawn just one of the fence over 5f today. If Kirsty can get him out against the rail and hopefully hang on for a place at least. The trainer has been in good form in recent weeks. Good luck with your picks today. |

You've been in good form this month, fundy - is that your 3rd winner?
Good stuff - well done. |

Nice winner to finish with Fundy
![]() Knew our fate with DA after just one fence today - the start was a bit messy and he ran into the back of Madison du Berlais and sulked thereafter. He's got the ability, he is apparently a very straightforward horse, but he needs everything to go his way. Nice day out, but boy was it cold. |

Good shout fundy, you make up for me

It's not over for us yet, I see we've qualified for the Mini Champions League. We'd better get those pins sharpened!

cracking points from fundy and book yesterday. We now have a Champions League to play for - though I've no idea how this comp works so we'll have to wait for ud to set it up.

bb, I had a quick read of the rules: The team with the lowest score drops out after week 1, followed by the 2 lowest score the following week, and the 2 remaining fight it out in the last week.
Those who survive carry their score forward to the following week. |
|
By:
And selections cannot be duplicated at any time.

thnx GEORGE.... changes to usual rules summarised here...
Competition will take place over 3 weeks, 28 Nov to 18 Dec. no cut-off time for Saturday selections. At the end of week 1, the team with the lowest score will drop out. The four remaining teams will start week two with the scores gained in week 1. At the end of week 2, two more teams with the lowest total scores will drop out leaving two teams for the final week. The two finalists will again start week 3 with all scores gained thus far. If there is a tie at the end of each particular week so that there is not a clear two sides going out, then the ties will be decided by best individual score within the teams in question for that particular week. |
