De$$ie - i think fundy picked Pompey to win in 90 minutes and as I was at Wemblwy yesterday, i can assure you it was a very drab 0-0 until extra time. UL, fundy - so close.
BTW - Wembley is a fabulous stadium, you can see everythin from any seat and hardly any queuing for food or beer. Only paid £30 for my ticket (turned down free Club seats as went with a couple of pals) and a terrific atmosphere all round. |

Being a Spurs fan I agree with Harry's views on the pitch - wasn't too impressed with the ref either over the key decisions.
Just heard that DA has scoped mucky and has a sore throat, which may well explain his run on Saturday. He got on well with the fences though and the early plan is to return next year. |

Going to Sandown too BB. The racecourse have invited the Dream Alliance syndicate for the Peoples Racing Story award for which the horse was shortisted. I assume that McCoy will win for winning the National (and he does deserve it), but great to be invited along.
Always wanted to go to Sandown as never been before. We've got John Flint in our party as he now trains Recurring Dream (she should be running again shortly) and I understand that they may fly Rhys back from Market Rasen to get the trophy for the Conditionals title (I think he will win unless Nick Scofield wins on both his rides) so should be a great day. I've gone for Fairoak Lad in the big race. Good luck all. |
