Going each-way with Sir Harry Ormesher in the 4.00 Cheltenham, Really think this is a good horse, hopefully continues to improve today, but a big festival win is in the making if not this year next. Goes and wins today @ 16/1 in the 5.30 Aintree, cannot believe I didn't stick it in for us today what a **** I am, stuck it in the daily Nap comp but after it let us down at Cheltenham I lost my bottle !! |

Not a sausage to go with it...one 2nd at 12-1 but nowt else. Ah well it was a nice dream for a while...

forpaddytheplasterer is my e/w selection today 310 Aintree
In 14 races he has been placed 13 times (and the other he was 4th) surely even I given my present bad run in this comp cannot jinx this stat! |
|
By:
i was thinking of going for araucaria 5.30 aintree
a NH flat race for mares she is well clear on ratings and speed but price of 3-1 in a 20 runner race has put me off probably go for hannons carnaby street at lingfield tomorrow depending on price |

Gone in with Full Toss tonight in the 7.45 at Wolves.
Reading the thread I am not sure what kind of horses or prices we are trying to pick. Someone let me know if these shorter ones are no good. I think i have had 5 from 7 or 6 from 8 since we restarted up, ranging from 1/2 to 9/4. Just get the feeling we are all at cross purposes reading the replies. Good luck all this weekend |
|
By:
TT - I cant see any problem with your selections/ tactics you have a good strike rate and generally get points on the board for us.
best of luck tonight |
|
By:
Not tonight lads done by a short head.
HH i am open to having a crack at anything, just didnt know if a 5/1 shot or so ew in a small race would be better, obviously may get a better return if it wins or place ? |

Gone with Royal Swain 5.35 Aint E/W for us today, just hope I've chosen the right Swinbank runner in this LOL. Brian Hughes sticks with Royal Swain after two out of two one of them over the distance, casn handle good ground if they allow it to dry out but I think they have watered so any cut will be appreciated even more.
Good luck all. |
|
By:
gone for carnaby street 3.15 lingfield as its ahead in the official ratings and racing post ratings
a good price around the 5-2 mark and its a good job i didnt pick that one yesterday |

Gone in early this week on Aberdale at Southwell. On form, jockey and trainer it should be a shoo in around 5-4 but I´m a wee bit worried to see g/f in the ground description. Suspect they will pull it out if its too quick.
|
|
By:
points on the board nice one
|
|
By:
Man! What a day! After a slow start I had a great finish with tons of winners. Backed Aberdale at 7-4, Prince Taime, Nulato and Total Submission at Southwell; and Stopped Out, Silver Sedge and Storm Brig at Kelso.
Had 3/4 in my ew L15 - first one fell - so getting closer. |

By:
Well done all this week so far.
Going for Mujdeya in the 4.25 at Newbury today, but will take it ew, with it being about 5/2, not too much downside on ew to win only. |
|
By:
nudging forwards...nice :)
|
|
By:
Lucinda took the mickey out of me today. Backed them all-the one which was PU I put in this comp :-(
|
|
By:
Worked out well TT, well done
|
|

On the daily Naps I have gone for Clowance but unfortunately it was already taken for the team naps so I have decided to try and unlock the safe and gone with Safebreaker E/W in the 3.35 Thirsk.
They usually give this a run then a little break before next race and same happens today, I would forget the last run at Wolves and put it down to blowing the cobwebs off , If back to it's consistent best it should run a good race at a nice price. |
|
By:
i remember picking it as a w/c last year and gubbed on the line!

|
By:
